HeroesMart operates The Companion Club and companionclubbooks.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, protect, retain, and share information when parents, guardians, and other visitors use the website.
Parent-directed use
The Companion Club serves families with children, including children under age 13. Although the stories may appeal to children, website contact, purchases, subscriptions, and any future enrollment are directed to parents and legal guardians. Children under 13 should not submit personal information directly through this website.
Information we collect
We may collect information an adult voluntarily provides by email or telephone, such as a name, email address, telephone number, message, communication preference, or information connected with a parent-managed inquiry or future enrollment. We may also receive limited technical information needed to operate and secure the site, including an IP address, browser or device information, and server logs.
Children’s personal information
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child under 13 without the parental notice and verifiable parental consent required by law. We do not use children’s personal information for targeted advertising, and we do not sell it. If we learn that information was submitted by a child without proper consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
Before Godly Kids Network enrollment opens, HeroesMart will publish a program-specific notice describing the exact information requested, why it is needed, which service providers receive it, how long it is retained, and the parental choices that apply.
How information is used

The website may link to services such as Amazon or other external destinations. Their terms and privacy practices control activity on their sites. Purchases completed on Amazon are processed by Amazon; HeroesMart does not receive or store complete payment-card information from those transactions.

WordPress and our hosting provider may use cookies or similar technology necessary for administration, security, preferences, and reliable operation. If analytics, advertising, age-verification, or additional tracking technology is added later, this policy and any required notice or consent controls will be updated before the new practice begins.
Data minimization, retention, and deletion
We collect only information reasonably related to a stated purpose and do not retain personal information longer than necessary for that purpose. General inquiries are ordinarily retained for no longer than 24 months unless continued communication, safety, dispute resolution, or law requires longer retention. Information that is no longer needed is deleted or securely disposed of. Program-specific retention periods will be documented before GKN enrollment begins.
Parental rights and visitor choices
An adult may request access to, correction of, or deletion of information they provided and may unsubscribe from nonessential email. A parent or guardian may ask what personal information we maintain about their child, request access or deletion, revoke consent, or refuse further collection or use. We may take reasonable steps to verify identity and parental authority before acting.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information we maintain. No online system can guarantee absolute security, so minimizing collection and limiting retention are part of our approach.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the website and its services change. The effective date will be revised when material changes are made. If a change affects information collected from a child, we will provide any additional parental notice or consent required before applying the new practice.
